For Vancouver Whitecaps FC, Saturday night’s match (April 25) against Colorado Rapids will be their final one at BC Place before a lengthy break for FIFA World Cup 2026.
The next MLS home match for the Caps won’t be until Aug. 1, a playoff rematch vs. Los Angeles FC.
More than 23,000 tickets have been sold for Saturday’s match, 7:30 p.m. start in Vancouver. It’ll be the 19th straight MLS game that the Whitecaps have welcomed a crowd of more than 20,000 fans to BC Place.
After playing eight of their first nine MLS matches at BC Place to start the soccer season, the Whitecaps are in first place as the second team in league history to score 22 or more goals in their first eight matches.

Last Friday night the Whitecaps beat Sporting Kansas City 3-0 in front of 21,777 fans at BC Place.
Meantime, the World Cup starts June 11 with Mexico facing South Africa, 11 a.m. start Pacific time.
The men’s tournament will see 104 matches played in 16 cities in Canada, the U.S. and Mexico, including seven in Vancouver. Qatar will play Canada at BC Place Stadium on June 18, and Switzerland takes on the home squad six days later, among other matches in Vancouver.
