Rogers posts Q2 loss as it takes charge related to MLSE deal

TORONTO — Rogers Communications Inc. reported a loss for its second quarter as it took a $1.03-billion non-cash charge related to its move to buy the minority stake in Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment it does not already own.
