Trust in Zelensky Rises to 57% After US Pressure, Poll Finds

A new Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS) poll found that 57% of respondents trusted President Volodymyr Zelensky in interviews conducted Oct. 10-16, up from 43% in a smaller group surveyed on Oct. 8-9. KIIS said the increase likely reflects a “rally-around-the-flag” effect after the US-Russia diesel deal and pressure on Ukraine. In the overall October survey, 54% said they trusted Zelensky and 41% did not.
