One person dead, homicide detectives called out to gas station in Maple Ridge

One person is dead and homicide detectives have been called out to a gas station in Maple Ridge Wednesday morning.

Members of the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team haven’t released any details yet but they are on site and have set a tent up at a gas station located at 24009 Dewdney Trunk Road.

The B.C. Coroners Service confirmed it is investigating a death in Maple Ridge Wednesday morning. Holly Tally, a spokesperson for the coroner, would not confirm any further details.

A staffer at the gas station said he was unable to comment on the situation unfolding outside.
