A Richmond man has been charged with assault causing bodily harm after a 60-year-old woman was punched several times in the head in a suspected road-rage incident in Vancouver’s Marpole neighbourhood on Wednesday afternoon.
Hours after responding to a 911 call about an assault, Vancouver Police arrested 52-year-old Goran Presic.
Police said the attacker got out of his vehicle, opened the woman’s car door and punched her several times in the head, leaving the victim with serious injuries and requiring treatment in hospital.
A witness assisted the victim and called police.
Presic has been released on bail.
