A Rogers outage left customers in parts of Vancouver, Burnaby and Surrey without TV, internet and home phone service on Saturday night.
According to an update Rogers support page at 9 p.m., the cause is “technical” and is expected to be repaired overnight. It said the next update isn’t expected until morning.
Some customers, including those who had been trying to watch the Canucks vs. L.A. Kings game, took to X to complain:
@RogersHelps @Shawhelp TV and Internet is crap right now. Tried calling and was told to call another time as call volumes are high. Great service as always….sigh….just trying to watch the Canucks game….sponsored by @Rogers …lol….what a joke…awesome customer service

@Rogers, the outage and lack of notice for the business guys in Chilliwack on Black Friday is unfair. Pls act
