Men’s Last Boulder World Cup Finale of 2026 Set in USA

Great Britain’s Max Milne topped the men’s Boulder semi-final standings with 84.9 points, edging Japan’s Rei Kawamata and Israel’s Yonatan Katz in a tightly contested round. Just 0.6 points separated the top three, while 14 climbers scored in the 69-point range as fine margins decided the final standings.

Milne opened with two flashes to build momentum and secure first place, ahead of Kawamata on 84.4 points and Katz on 84.3. “I think I executed really well,” Milne said. “You have to battle your mind to stay focused and stay calm, not think about the future and the results.” Known for his energy and crowd engagement, Milne added that enjoying the sport remains a priority: “I don’t want to win and medal at comps not smiling. I want to enjoy everything, the success and the failures.” For Katz, the result marked a final appearance in just his second World Climbing Series competition.

France’s Max Bertone finished fourth on 69.9 points, tied on score with Germany’s Elias Krüger Arriagada, who placed fifth on countback. “I felt really good today,” Krüger Arriagada said. “I was locked in, focused and tried to climb smart and I think it worked out pretty well.”

Japan’s Sohta Amagasa placed sixth on 69.8 points, while Great Britain’s Dayan Akhtar and Israel’s Or Mark shared seventh on the same score to claim the final spots. The narrow margins left several notable climbers outside the top eight, including France’s Mejdi Schalck and the USA’s Colin Duffy. With the podium spots up for grabs, the finalists will need precision and consistency to finish the season on a high.
