On Tuesday evening at The Shed in Hudson Yards, Tom Hanks debuted “This World of Tomorrow”—an original off-Broadway play that he stars in and co-wrote—for a crowd that included Meryl Streep, Martin Short, Katie Holmes, Misty Copeland, and Steve Martin.
