One person is dead after shots rang out late Tuesday night on a quiet crescent road in Langley.
First responders from the Langley RCMP, Langley City Fire Rescue Service and B.C. Ambulance Service were called to the 5400-block of Brydon Crescent shortly after 11:30 p.m.
One person was found in medical distress and died at the scene, said Sgt. Zynal Sharoom in a news release.
The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) has been called in. Sharoom said officers will be in the neighbourhood Wednesday collecting evidence and speaking with witnesses.
“The investigation is still in its early stages, and any further information will be provided by the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team,” said Sharoom.
