Were your tires slashed or car keyed recently? VPD wants to speak with you

Vancouver police are investigating after several vehicles were damaged in South Vancouver the past week.

Vancouver police are investigating after more than a dozen vehicles have been vandalized while parked on South Vancouver streets.

Tires have been slashed and vehicles keyed in the incidents, which have occurred between Fraser Street and Victoria Drive and between East 45th and East 61st avenues in the last week.

Const. Megan Lui said investigators believe the incidents are related and is appealing for help in identifying the person or people responsible for the mischief spree.

“We believe there are possibly more victims who have had their vehicles damaged and may not have reported it to police,” she said in a news release on Friday.

Anyone who has their vehicles damaged, or anyone with CCTV or has information about the vandalism, is asked to contact police at 604-717-3321.
