RCMP officers in Surrey were called to a Cloverdale home early Sunday morning with reports of gunfire.
According to a police statement, members of the RCMP Surrey provincial operations support unit attended the home in the 18700-block of 54th Avenue at around 2:20 a.m. on Jan. 11 and found the home damaged by gunfire.
The same home was targeted on New Year’s Eve, with both incidents believed to be linked to Surrey’s continuing extortion crisis.
No one was injured in either shooting.
