While not quite a one bedroom, this studio unit is located in the popular Mount Pleasant neighbourhood, a seven-minute walk from the future Mount Pleasant SkyTrain station, located at Main and Broadway, that is part of the transit extension that will connect Vancouver’s east and west sides. If the neighbourhood wasn’t well positioned for car-free accessibility before, it will be soon when the station opens in 2027.
1209 – 6383 McKay Ave., Burnaby

215 – 12460 191 St., Pitt Meadows

While there’s no SkyTrain in Pitt Meadows, there is a West Coast Express station and Rapid Bus route within a 10-minute walk of this listing. It’s a one bedroom plus den with 9-foot ceilings for under $500,000 — hard to find in Vancouver. It’s also conveniently located near grocery stores, theatres, and restaurants.
