President Trump is set to deliver the commencement address at the U.S. Military Academy graduation ceremony on Saturday.

His speech to West Point graduates comes as tension between Trump and higher education institutions heated up this week. It also follows the administration's crackdown on diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) programs and hiring practices at schools and federal agencies, including military academies.

In his first 100 days, the president was also quick to issue executive actions to transform the Defense Department.

The event is scheduled to begin at 10:15 a.m. EDT.
