Japan Lifts 5-Year Restrictions on Ukrainian Poultry and Egg Imports

Japan has resumed imports of Ukrainian poultry, eggs and egg products after five years of import restrictions, Ukraine’s ambassador to Japan Yurii Lutovinov said on Monday, Oct. 19. The decision was formally agreed upon on Oct. 16, and it opens a new market for Ukrainian producers, while adding to growing cooperation between Kyiv and Tokyo.
