UPDATE: Thanksgiving Monday wildfire near Lavington ‘calming down’

UPDATE: 8 p.m. The wildfire near Lavington, west of Becker Lake, is now an estimated 6.87 hectares. BC Wildfire Service is reporting the blaze as out of control, and is anticipated to spread beyond the current perimeter orcontrol line.
