
Homicide detectives have been called in after a man was shot dead Thursday night in Surrey.
Shortly after 7:30 p.m., Surrey Police Service officers responded to calls of a shooting near the 10800-block of 129th Street.
When they arrived, police found a man suffering from severe injuries. Paramedics tried to save his life but he died.
The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team has now taken over the case. This is Surrey’s fourth homicide of 2025, according to the SPS.
Police believe this was a targeted shooting.
