Russian Refinery Seeks Air Defense Operators Amid Escalating Drone Strikes

On Friday, the Kuibyshev Oil Refinery in Russia's Samara region advertised for operators of “Shilka” anti-aircraft guns and “Berezhok” armored vehicles to help defend the facility against Ukrainian drone strikes. According to reports, successful applicants would join Russia's mobilization reserve, undergo additional training, and serve in crews tasked with protecting the refinery and other strategic facilities from aerial threats as Ukraine's long-range drone campaign against Russian energy infrastructure intensifies.
