The second season of Vancouver Goldeneyes hockey brings new crested jerseys, revealed Wednesday (Oct. 21) at Pacific Coliseum.
It’s a sharp new look for the Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) team, which starts the 2026-2027 season at home Dec. 5 vs. Seattle Torrent.
The jersey design prominently features the Goldeneyes logo, “a textured golden eye encircled by wings and pointing to the Pacific Northwest,” team officials note.
“The five earthy bronze lines on each arm sleeve evoke the wings of the common goldeneye and the team’s logo, in a design element that is new to the PWHL.”
In another league first, the jersey boasts “dynamic V-shaped blocking on the lower sides, conveying motion and speed while alluding to both the ‘V’ in Vancouver and the team’s fan-favourite ‘flying V’ postgame celebration. In addition, the numbers on the back of each jersey are adorned with the silhouette of the logo’s eye.”
Team-issued photos show jerseys worn by Goldeneyes players Jenn Gardiner, Sarah Nurse and Caroline “KK” Harvey, the team’s first-overall pick in the 2026 draft.
“I’m thrilled to see our new jerseys. I love the details, especially the stripes on the sleeves representing wings,” said Gardiner, Surrey-raised forward.
“We’ve been building a really special team here in Vancouver, and I think getting a jersey with our logo on the front is an exciting touch as we continue to build on what we started last season. I can’t wait to see fans wearing these jerseys and representing the Goldeneyes alongside us.”
Produced by Bauer, the jerseys are sold online and at the Goldeneyes team store at Pacific Coliseum starting Thursday, Oct. 22.
