Rebekah Vardy has agreed to pay almost £1.2m of Coleen Rooney’s legal fees after their high-profile libel case, a judge has been told.

A court had previously heard that Rooney ran up a legal bill totalling more than £1.8m after she successfully defended Vardy’s 2022 high court claim, which became known as the “Wagatha Christie” case.
