The Vancouver Police Department has arrested a man they claim touched another man’s penis in a public washroom.
VPD spokesperson Const. Megan Lui said police were called to the washroom at English Bay at 3 p.m. on Monday with a report of a sexual assault.
“Vancouver police responded to a report that a man allegedly groped another man’s genitalia in a public washroom,” Lui said. “Police located the suspect and arrested him.”
Cecil Flett, 50, has been charged with one count of sexual assault and one count of failing to comply with a release order.
Flett has been detained pending a bail hearing.
