RCMP investigating after 42-year-old man injured in Burnaby stabbing

Police on the scene  at Greystone Village at 7405 Woodbrook Place in Burnaby.

Mounties in Burnaby are investigating a stabbing Monday night that sent one man to hospital.

RCMP say at about 10:15 p.m. officers responded to a report of a disturbance in the 7400-block of Woodbrook Place in north Burnaby.

When police arrived, they found a 42-year-old man suffering from stab wounds. He was transported to hospital in stable condition.

The site was still behind police tape on Tuesday morning. Burnaby RCMP’s Serious Crime Section has taken over the case.

Investigators believe this was an isolated incident. They are asking any potential witnesses to this stabbing to call police.
