Kitimat RCMP are renewing their appeal for public assistance as the search continues for missing 14-year-old Abbriella Guthrie, who was reported missing April 11, 2026.
Police say investigators have followed up on several leads and possible sightings since her disappearance, but none have resulted in locating the teen or confirming her safety.
Guthrie, who is also known as Brie or Alex, is described as a Caucasian female, 14 years old, standing five feet five inches (165 cm) tall and weighing 100 pounds (45 kg), with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing turquoise sweatpants and a grey oversized sweatshirt.
Additional details shared through family on social media indicate Guthrie was last seen at about 8 a.m. in Kitimat after leaving her foster home. The poster notes there is video of her leaving, but it is not known where she went or whether she entered a vehicle.
The family also note her phone has been off, with no activity since her disappearance, which is considered highly concerning.
Kitimat RCMP are asking anyone with information that could assist in locating Abbriella or confirming her safety to come forward.
Anyone with information is urged to contact RCMP or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
