Zelensky Says Starlink Still Not Fully Restored, Disrupting Russian Drone Interceptions and Food Deliveries to Frontline Troops

President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed Friday, Oct. 16, that the operating capabilities of Ukraine’s military Starlink satellite network have not been fully restored, despite indications that the White House may have intervened with SpaceX. He said restrictions prevented Ukrainian forces from intercepting Russian jet-powered Shahed drones, disrupted strikes against Russian military targets in occupied territory and interfered with food and water deliveries to frontline troops.
