12 Senators Sign Bipartisan Letter Urging Trump to Rescind Russian Diesel Deal

Twelve US senators – six Republicans and six Democrats – signed a joint letter urging US President Donald Trump on Monday, Oct. 13 to rescind his Oct. 9 diesel arrangement with Russian President Vladimir Putin. They called it a betrayal of Ukraine and demanded the president to enforce the new Lindsey O. Graham Sanctioning Russia and Iran Act of 2026, signed by Trump just three weeks before striking the deal with the Kremlin leader.
