BURST
A pedestrian is dead after being struck by a vehicle at a busy intersection in North Vancouver Thursday night.
North Vancouver RCMP were called out to a collision at around 7:30 p.m. in the 200-block of Esplanade West.
Police attended and confirmed that a pedestrian died in the crash.
Lane closures were in effect for several hours. It’s not yet known what caused the crash.
