All ferry service to and from Horseshoe Bay has been suspended on Sunday afternoon due to a police incident aboard the Queen of Surrey.

The 1:20 p.m. sailing from Nanaimo is holding outside of dock due to the incident and off-loading has been delayed.

The 4 p.m. sailing departing Horseshoe Bay has also been delayed.

West Vancouver police are at the ferry terminal “to provide assistance to a member of the public” and are asking everyone to avoid the area, a social media post reads.

Images from social media show long lines of cars stuck at the terminal.
