BURSTSenate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer gave remarks on Tuesday from the Senate floor, pushing back on President Trump over his decision to accept a jet as a gift from the Qatari royal family.
In his speech, Schumer announced he is placing a hold on all political nominees for the Justice Department in response to Trump’s pending acceptance of the luxury jet that would temporarily serve as the next Air Force One.
Several Democrats have also pushed for a vote on the ethics of the gift, as lawmakers say it requires Congressional approval.
