Drones Strike Lukoil Refinery and Power Plant in Kstovo

Ukrainian long-range strike drones attacked the Lukoil-Nizhegorodnefteorgsintez refinery and the adjacent Novogorkovskaya combined heat and power plant in Kstovo, Nizhny Novgorod region, overnight into Sunday, Nov. 1. The strike triggered major blazes in multiple areas across the 17-million-ton refining complex – Russia’s fourth-largest refinery and second-largest motor gasoline producer. Drones penetrated heavy local air defense nets to strike processing units and the industrial power plant supplying steam and electricity to surrounding petrochemical facilities.
