Emergency crews rush to incident along train tacks in Vanderhoof

Burrard Avenue is closed in both directions at the Yellowhead Highway in Vanderhoof due to an emergency incident, possibly involving a train.

RCMP, BC Ambulance, and fire crews arrived on scene sometime before 9 p.m. Sunday.

According to a witness in the area, a CN Rail train was stopped on the tracks on Burrard and there was a large emergency presence.
