Mellow Climbing Hits the Road with New Film Tour

Mellow is hitting the road with a new film tour that will feature four films. Mellow, a collective that includes several climbers, including Shawn Raboutou and Giuliano Cameroni, got started on Oct. 15, 2018, with their first video called A Mellow Rocklands – watch below.

The Mellow Film Tour begins on Feb. 27 in Boulder, Colorado at the Boulder Theater, bringing an exciting night of climbing films to the city. From there, it moves to Denver on March 2 at the Oriental Theater and to Fort Collins on March 3 at The Lyric. On March 5, audiences in Colorado Springs can catch the tour at Armstrong Hall. The journey continues westward with a March 9 showing in Sacramento at the 24th Street Theatre, followed by San Francisco on March 10 at the Great Star Theater and San Diego on March 11 at a location yet to be announced. On March 14, Salt Lake City hosts the tour at the Salt Lake City Library. The adventure then heads to Austin, Texas on March 24 with the venue to be confirmed, before wrapping up on March 27 in Boston at the Somerville Theatre. Fans across the country will have the chance to experience the energy and passion of the Mellow Film Tour firsthand.

Mellow said this about the tour: “Brooke Raboutou, Sean Bailey & Connor Herson on the hardest ascents in the world, plus an Alaskan alpine curveball: two of the best in the mountains, Jackson Marvell and Matt Cornell, take Shawn Raboutou and Nathaniel Coleman way out of their element. Come watch the next generation make history.”

Together, the films trace a generation stepping fully into its moment. Alex Honnold puts it simply: “The next generation needs its inspiration. The Mellow crew provides it. Between sends of the world’s hardest boulders.” For tickets visit here.
