There are no survivors after a plane crashed south of Nanaimo early this morning.
In a press release, Nanaimo RCMP said reports of a crash in a wooded area near Twilight Way in the Nanaimo River Road area began coming in at 3 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 27.
There is a large debris field and while it is not known how many were on the aircraft, there were no survivors, the press release stated.
Police are on scene and the investigation is ongoing. More to come.
