BURSTA Kitimat teen missing since April 11 has been located, according to an RCMP release on April 17.
Kitimat RCMP renewed their appeal for public assistance just hours prior as the search continued for missing 14-year-old Abbriella Guthrie.
Guthrie was reported missing after leaving her foster home on the morning of April 11. Concern mounted as family members tried calling her cell phone, but it had been turned off and there was no activity on her account.
Investigators pursued several leads and possible sightings following her disappearance.
“The RCMP thanks the media and public for their assistance,” Kitimat RCMP stated.
No other details were forthcoming.
