Drone Strike Damages Strategic Mius River Bridge in Rostov

A Ukrainian drone strike damaged a strategic bridge spanning the Mius River in Russia’s Rostov region overnight into Sunday, Nov. 8. The damaged structure, located at the 97-kilometer mark in the Neklinovsky district along the “Novorossiya” highway connecting Rostov-on-Don to occupied Ukrainian territory, suffered damage alongside two crawler cranes. Russian authorities introduced single-lane reversible traffic across the span, while the Russian Defense Ministry claimed 142 drones were intercepted overnight.
