VPD investigating 'random and unprovoked' stabbings on Yaletown seawall

Police say three people were stabbed on the seawall near David Lam Park in Yaletown in attacks they have labeled as random and unprovoked.

Three people were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening images after a string of random, unprovoked stabbing on the seawall near David Lam Park early Friday.

The attacker has not been located.

The attacker is described as possibly an Indigenous woman in her late 20s or early 30s, between 5-foot-3 and 5-foot-7, with a slim build and long dark hair worn in a ponytail. She was wearing a large, oversized black leather jacket, tight dark pants and either a leopard-print shirt or scarf.
