Don’t Miss the Final Boulder World Cup of 2026 in Salt Lake City

The final Boulder World Cup of the 2026 season is happening this weekend in Salt Lake City, Utah. The qualification rounds will be held on Friday, the men’s semi-final and final events will take place on Saturday, and the women’s semi-final and final on Sunday.

Many big names will be competing in Salt Lake City, including Sorato Anraku, Dohyun Lee, Colin Duffy, Mejdi Schalck, Sam Avezou, Nicolai Uznik, and Max Bertone. As for the women, we can expect to see Oriane Bertone, Annie Sanders, Oceania Mackenzie, Erin McNeice, Zélia Avezou, Madison Richardson, Babette Roy, and Melina Costanza, among others.

Heading into the event, McNeice is the favourite to win the Women’s Overall title. After the last event in Innsbruck, she is in the lead with 3,740 points. Mackenzie is second with 3,470 points, and Sanders is close behind with 3,300 points.

While McNeice is ahead, it’s still possible for Mackenzie and Sanders to claim the title. For Mackenzie to win the overall title, she would need to place first, and McNeice would need to finish in fourth place or lower. Sanders is still in the running for the Women’s Overall title, too – she would need to win the event, and McNeice would need to finish in fifth place or lower.

The Men’s Overall title has already been secured by Anraku. He has 5000 points heading into the final event. Lee is second in the rankings with 3,095 points, and Schalck third with 2, 587 points. Incredibly, this is Anraku’s fourth consecutive Men’s Overall Boulder win. He won his first title when he was only 16 years old and took the world of comp climbing by storm.

We can expect to see many top athletes from Canada and the United States competing in Salt Lake City. See below for the full list of registered Canadian and American athletes. As always, the final list may vary as athletes confirm their attendance.
