BURSTAfter the ballots were counted on Oct. 17, some of the incumbent councillors will be returning to the table with a couple of new faces in Telkwa.
All of the former councillors ran for re-election, however only Annette Morgan and Lee Ewald made it in while Simon Schat and Cathy Frenette did not get voted back in.
Joining the two incumbents are political newcomers Michelle Finch and Grace Francis.
Karen Hilchey also ran and did not win.
Derek Meerdink was the only one to run for the mayoral seat and was acclaimed. Former mayor Leroy Dekens did not run again, leaving the top job open.
