EU, Ukraine Launch Task Force to Accelerate Accession Benchmarks

European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos announced that the EU and Ukraine will launch a joint Task Force to accelerate interim accession benchmarks and rule-of-law reforms. The step follows the opening of two additional negotiating clusters and the Ukrainian parliament’s passage of education reforms on minorities, building on recent anti-graft legislation.
