Vancouver police warn public as high-risk sex offender to live in city

High-risk sex offender Shaun Deacon, 60, is on a long term supervision order for possession of and accessing child pornography. He has been released from custody and will be living in Vancouver, leading to a warning from Vancouver police.

Deacon, 60, is on a long term supervision order for possession of and accessing child pornography. Police believe Deacon poses a high risk to children — predominantly boys.

Deacon is around 6-feet tall and 255 pounds. He has brown hair and hazel eyes.

Deacon is bound by several court-imposed conditions, including:

— Not to be found near places where children under 16 are likely to be

— He has to report all intimate and non-sexual relationships

— Not to be in the presence of, or communicate directly or indirectly with, any male or female children under age 16

— Not to use or possess any technological device capable of accessing the internet

— Not to possess images of children under the age of 16 in any form

— Not to have direct or indirect contact with individuals who have a history of sexual offending against children under the age of 18 years old.
