Trump and Putin end ‘productive’ summit, but with no ceasefire

The high-profile summit in Alaska between President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin ended without a deal to end, or pause, Russia’s war in Ukraine. The conflict has lasted for more than three years and is the largest land war in Europe since 1945.
