Drone Strike Hits Nova Poshta Depot Near Odesa, Injuring 4

Russian forces struck a Nova Poshta logistics facility located inside an Epicentr shopping center on the outskirts of Odesa on Aug. 16. Odesa Regional Military Administration Head Oleh Kiper reported that a 42-year-old woman and a 32-year-old man were hospitalized with shrapnel wounds following the attack by a “jet-powered drone.” The attack follows a broader wave of strikes on civilian infrastructure across Ukraine, including a deadly attack on the ArcelorMittal plant in Kryvyi Rih and a large-scale fire at the historic Petrivka book market in Kyiv.
