
No ticket? No problem. Not everyone’s got the budget to score World Cup tickets but there’s plenty of ways to get in on FIFA fever around Metro Vancouver.
There’s the massive FIFA Fan Festival being held at Hastings Park, where there will be no shortage of screens airing the games and other family-friendly activities.
Don’t feel like trekking all the way to that corner of the city? There’s watch parties being held at various venues in the city as well.
Or maybe you’ve got littles who don’t care about watching the game but do get excited about soccer.
Here’s a list of World Cup watch parties and events, both official and unofficial, where you can celebrate the beautiful game this summer.

Burnaby: Game On Watch Party

Head over to The Amazing Brentwood for their free Game On Watch Party, from June 11 to July 19. Big screens will be set up outside on Brentwood Plaza as well as indoors at the TABLES Lounge. Screens will be on from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., though matches that start at 9 p.m. will not be screened. Check their website for more details or click through to see their viewing schedule for June.
Coquitlam: Summer of Soccer

The city of Coquitlam will host a series of free, family-friendly events from June 11 to July 19 to help the community get in on the World Cup excitement. Delta: Soccer Fan Zones

Visit Delta’s Ladner Village Pop-up Park for watch parties, food, games, music and all-ages fun. There are activities and events throughout the duration of the tournament, including Friday night movies when games aren’t screening, and Saturday showdowns that give fans a chance to face off in Mario Kart and foosball for prizes.
Langley City: Global Game Day

Langley Township: Global Game Day

The township of Langley will host 11 free watch parties at the Langley Events Centre, where families can enjoy family-friendly entertainment and activities, soccer-themed games for kids, and food and beverage available for purchase (with a number of $5 or less options). Most games will be screened on the LEC’s new high-definition video board inside the stadium though watch parties may be moved inside the LEC to the banquet hall in case of inclement weather.
Maple Ridge: Game On 2026

When: June 12, June 18, June 24, July 1, July 14, July 15, July 19

Maple Ridge will host watch parties with games screened on massive 20-foot screens with full broadcast sound, family activity zones, food trucks and vendors, as well as pre-game and halftime programming. Live music will entertain the crowds during breaks

Some events are City-run, and some are run by community partners with grants from the City. North Vancouver: Canada Soccer House

Canada Soccer’s official fan destination opens its doors in North Van’s waterfront Shipyards location on June 11. The venue, which will feature live broadcasts, family-friendly activations, retail pop-ups and a chance to meet players for the national team, will run on select days. On all other days, The Shipyards will host soccer-related activities and watch parties including the final match on July 19.
Pitt Meadows: Cheers for Canada

Looking for a place to connect with other soccer fans and enjoy the World Cup matches on a big screen? Head over to Hollywood Theatre for free community watch parties all throughout the tournament. Vancouver: Yaletown’s World Cup Festivities

Not far from B.C. Place, Yaletown is gearing up for the World Cup with outdoor viewing spots, mini-soccer fields, interactive installations and more during game days.
Two Yaletown eateries are turning Helmcken Plaza , between Hamilton and Mainland streets, to the neighbourhood’s largest outdoor patio destination during FIFA games. The Pitchside Patio at Earls will host watch parties, while Backyard FC at Yaletown Brewing provides a relaxed, social space where diners can enjoy burgers, pizza and cold pints at picnic tables for a match-day party feel in the middle of the city.
Around the corner, at the Hamilton Street docks , Parlour’s patio will host live match viewing, DJs, live performances in addition to its food and drink offerings. Along the docks, Game On, Yaletown can entertain adults and kids alike with its mini soccer fields and casual seating areas.
Don’t miss Bill Curtis Square , near Yaletown Roundhouse Station. The small, brick square will have a “bold, immersive and interactive installation” that’ll capture the energy and spirit of the FIFA games, said organizers. Details to be released.
Vancouver: South Flats FIFA Viewing Parties with Low Tide Properties

Enjoy a free, community-focused outdoor watch party series during the opening weeks of the World Cup at a venue just outside the downtown bubble. Fans are invited to cheer on their team in an open-air setting with the games broadcast on a large outdoor screen. Food, drinks, music and family-friend activities are all accessible nearby, with multiple games on the schedule each day. Check out the fully licensed bar, food trucks, as well as live music and a DJ. On weekends, there’ll be face painting for kids.

Vancouver: Granville Island Watch Party

Granville Island is hosting a five-week long watch party at its picturesque False Creek location. The free event will have outdoor seating for 1,000 people, a 24-foot screen where fans can watch 94 matches alongside live performances, food trucks, craft beer garden and family play zones.
The festivities kick off on June 11, with Mexico’s first opening game, and on June 12, with Canada and U.S. openers. There’ll be family-friendly performances by local DJs and on-site roving performers, face painting, and children’s games on site.
As the World Cup ramps up, so do the watch parties. The site opens on match days only. Gates open one hour before matches from June 11 to July 3; two hours before matches from July 4 to 11; and three hours before matches from July 14 to 19 (the site will be closed July 8, 12, 13, 16 and 17).
Vancouver: Soccer in the Square

North Vancouver: Capilano Suspension Bridge’s Canyon Kick-Off

The Capilano Suspension Bridge will show its soccer pride by suspending flags from all participating nations along the bridge, including a 10-foot soccer ball. Check out special photo spots and interactive family activations, along with a new globally inspired menu at the Cliff House Restaurant, drawing inspiration from all participating countries.
Vancouver: Science World’s Soccer & Technology from the FIFA Museum

When: May 15 until Sept. 7

This travelling exhibit will land at Science World from May 15 through Sept. 7 and give visitors a look inside the technology and science behind the beautiful game of soccer. Explore everything from the pitch to the broadcast booth and learn about how the modern game is put on.
Note: Science World’s parking lots will be closed during the seven FIFA matches happening in Vancouver due to traffic closures and pedestrian access to the stadium. Instead, Science World visitors should walk, ride their bikes or take transit. Science World is also offering 20 per cent off admission on match days and will offer extended hours.
Rise x Shine PlayHouse Pre-Match Party

Hosted by former Whitecaps and Premier League captain Jay DeMerit (who competed in the 2010 World Cup), this event takes DeMerit’s signature soccer combine experience and turns it into a pre- and post-game interactive experience, with live music, competition, and community.
The event’s pre-game offerings are family-friendly for fans of all ages, with coaches, artists and soccer activations where fans can test their skills. After FIFA matches wrap up, the venue turns into a 19+ venue with a live DJ and bar.
