Community schools like St Mary’s in London support more than 2,500 children, offering stability and cultural continuity, yet full‑time trauma‑focused provision still lacks funding. With no recognised Ukrainian‑language qualification in the UK, many are pushed toward Russian language exams, which feels like a a painful injustice. These children need recognition, continuity and systems that value their identity.
