Ryazan Oil Refinery and Rostov Targeted in Drone Wave

Unidentified drones attacked the Ryazan Oil Refinery and Russia’s Rostov region early Sunday morning, Sept. 6. The strike ignited a fire at the refinery, which accounts for roughly 5% of Russia’s refining capacity and had previously halted processing after strikes in May and July. In Rostov-on-Don, drones circled for hours, damaging a residential apartment building and causing explosions near an Ozon warehouse.
