O'Reilly: Trump has won over 'the entire Arab world'

Bill O’Reilly on Monday said President Trump has overcome hate in the Arab world by securing a peace agreement between Israel and Hamas.

Trump helped arrange the release of hostages held by Hamas in addition to ending Israel’s airstrikes in Palestine by implementing the first phase of his 20-point peace plan.

“The whole Arab street now likes America because they think that Trump is strong and that’s what is respected in the Middle East,” O’Reilly said during an appearance on NewsNation’s “On Balance.”

“Trump now wins over the entire Arab world. They’re all behind the United States. Huge,” he added.

World leaders including Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan have shared strong statements of support for Trump due to the success of his peace negotiations.

O’Reilly on Monday said the release of hostages sends a powerful message to China’s President Xi Jinping, whom Trump is soon expected to meet with in South Korea.

“Donald Trump’s power worldwide has just increased about a thousand percent,” O’Reilly told anchor Leland Vittert.

“Xi and the Chinese know that he has the Arab world and the Middle East on his side. China needs the Middle East, even though they’re temporarily buying oil from Russia, OK? And Iran,” he added.

The trade battle between the U.S. and China has heated up again in the last few days, with Trump warning of a 100 percent tariff on all imports from China. Trump offered more calming comments on Monday, which led U.S. markets to bounce back after steep losses on Friday.

O’Reilly said amid the resurgence of a trade war, China cannot afford to lose their relationship with countries in the Middle East.

“They need the Middle East. They can’t afford to alienate the Arab nations,” he told Vittert.
