A Surrey man has been charged with more criminal offences in connection with a child sexual abuse case.

Last year, Kevin James Belcourt was charged with six offences, including possession and distribution of child sexual abuse and exploitation materials, voyeurism, committing an indecent act in a public place, and two counts of failing to comply with a probation order.

He now faces 17 more charges in the same case.

Those charges include 12 counts of luring a child, one count of making explicit material available to a child, two counts of making child sexual abuse exploitation materials and two counts of publication of an intimate image without consent.

Surrey Police Service investigators are working with police across Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom to identify child victims.

Police say the could be more child victims.

Belcourt remains in custody. His next court appearance is May 4.
