With 2024 coming to a close, former President Obama is again sharing a list of his favorites, posting about his 10 favorite books of the year.
The list posted on social media includes self-help book “The Anxious Generation” by Jonathan Haidt, “The Work of Art: How Something Comes from Nothing” by former New York magazine editor Adam Moss, the memoir "Patriot” by late Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny, and coming-of-age story “Intermezzo” by Sally Rooney.
“I always look forward to sharing my annual list of favorite books, movies, and music. Today I’ll start by sharing some of the books that have stuck with me long after I finished reading them,” Obama said alongside the list on social platform X.
He also posted a comment resurfacing his summer reading list.
Every year, the former Democratic president reveals some of his favorite forms of media, including books and music, sharing both his 2024 favorites and summer playlists.
Last year’s book list included “The Covenant of Water” by Abraham Verghese, “The Kingdom, the Power, and the Glory,” by Tim Alberta, and “The Vaster Wilds” by Lauren Groff.
