The documentary Will Power, which follows Will Gadd as he travels to the Taihang Mountains of China in search of new ice routes, hit the film festivals in 2020 but was just now released for free on Gadd’s YouTube page.
As Gadd describes it, “Wild new routes, fireworks, great people and a whole lot of fun with great friends. This was made with Cal Leblanc at Crossroads Media, great human and company, along with an all-time crew of amazing people, one of the best trips of my life, thank you all!”
The film starts with a cliffhanger as we’re led to believe that Gadd has to get rescued. It then takes us on a journey of climbing and community. Hands down one of the best films that has featured Gadd in the past decade.
